It fixes
command.c:879: warning: int format, different type arg (arg 4)

This further simplifies the audio format handlers. The chunk_table
and the header info is now contained in that struct which allows
to move the cleanup on eof from the audio format handlers to the
virtual streaming system.

It's easier to just pass the name of the user to be looked up. This
fixes a memory leak btw. because u.name was strdupped and never freed.
That leak wasn't serious though as is happened in the child process.

It's kind of silly. Just open code the desired value.

This is much cleaner as the commands differ by gcc attribute usage,
e.g. __a_unused. But it also means that in the source code
(a) the opening bracket for the function body must not be on
the same line (com_hist got this wrong),
(b) for all command handlers, the parameters must be called
fd, argc and argv,
(c) If a command handler uses __noreturn, that attribute must
be the first word, see audiod's com_term().
So change the few occasions where this was not the case.

This makes the man pages generated by help2man look much nicer.

lookup_user() never returns zero, so kill the corresponding check for
zero return value.

Last argument was 0 for both callers. Kill this arg.

They are called user_list.c and user_list.h
|
| |
|
|
|
|
| |
As the variants without underscore were removed in the previous patch.
The exception is user_list which contains the name of the config file
containing all users and which is still needed. So rename it to user_list_file.

It is unused as it was replaced by the in-memory variants _get_user()
and struct _user.

In order to do so, the crypt functions had to be changed so that they
take an rsa key instead of the filename of that key. Also, make _get_user()
return -E_BAD_USER if the user was not found and move the corresponding error
codes from COMMAND_ERRORS to SERVER_ERRORS in error.h.

stdio sucks badly. The only serious user of fgets() is para_server's
get_user() function. So make it use the wrapper and simplify it as
we're at it.
|
| |
|
|
|
|
|
|
| |
Currently, if para_server gets killed by SIGKILL, its status clients
happily move on and announce the most current stream. This causes
audiod to restart the receivers in an endless loop. It's better to
close the connection from within com_stat() if the parent pid equals
one (which indicates that para_server has crashed).

It's identical to PACKAGE_VERSION, so use PACKAGE_VERSION in the
C Code and get rid of the preprocessor define.
|
| |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| |
This allows major simplifications:
- get rid of exec.o: para_audiod no longer executes any external
programs
- get rid of close_on_fork.o
- get rid of the sigchld handler.

new file: client.h
new file: client_common.c
This completes the preparations for including para_client into para_audiod.
client_common.c contains all functions that are also useful for para_audiod.

The current code checked if the global pointers crypt_function_recv and
crypt_function_send are non-NULL. In this case it used the given crypt
functions unconditionally for each fd. This makes it messy to enable
crypto only for some fds.
This patch removes these global pointers in favour of an array of
crypt function pointers. Users may use this function to activate
crypto for each fd separately.

move the audio format handler stuff to the new afh.h header file
which isn't included by any of the senders.
|
| |
|
|
|
| |
This is achieved by adding an array of typical suffixes
for the audio format to struct audio_format_handler.

This should fix
command.c:441: warning: format '%lu' expects type 'long unsigned int', but argument 31 has type 'suseconds_t'
on MacOs.
|
| |
|
|
|
|
| |
Use tv2ms() which returns long unsigned where appropriate.
For the remaining cases, cast the members of struct timeval
to long unsigned if used via a format string.
|
| |
|
|
|

It is not important enough to care about the compatibility
issues.
|

__unused is already defined on MacOS.

Thanks to Lorenzo Bettini for pointing this out.
This patch also fixes a bug with the default filter configuration which
allocated too little memory for the array of filter configurations. Now
we always allocate space for at least three entries.

Do not clear the AFS_NEXT flag in afs_send_chunk() and increase mmd->events.
Fixes a (rare) problem where the next command did not work.
